Terms of Service

1. The service

FileFreight is a digital-product delivery service. Sellers upload digital files, set prices, and receive payment into their own Stripe accounts, connected to the platform through Stripe Connect; the platform generates secure download links and license keys and emails them to buyers on the seller's behalf.

2. Seller responsibilities

You must own or be licensed to sell everything you distribute through the service.
You must not sell content that infringes intellectual-property rights, is unlawful, or contains malware.
You are responsible for your product descriptions, pricing, delivery promises, and customer support for your buyers.
You are responsible for keeping your Stripe and FileFreight account credentials confidential.
Your Stripe account is governed by your own agreement with Stripe.

3. Fees

Free plan: a 5% platform fee on each sale, deducted by Stripe at checkout as an application fee. Pro plan ($19/month): 0% platform fee on sales. When you refund a sale, the platform fee on the refunded amount is returned to you. Stripe's own payment-processing fees are charged to you by Stripe and are separate from platform fees.

4. Refunds

Sellers set their own refund policies for their products. The platform does not automatically process refunds on a seller's behalf; buyers seeking a refund should contact the seller directly. When Stripe reports a refund, the buyer's download access and license keys are revoked automatically. A formal platform refund policy will be published here when available.

5. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or expose the platform or its users to liability. You may close your account at any time by contacting forestblah2011@gmail.com. On termination, your products and buyer download links are disabled; sales records are retained as required by law.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue from interrupted file delivery.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
